The holiday season is always a special time in Mount Joy. From lights and festive decorations to finding the perfect gift, preparing holiday meals, and spending time with family and friends, our local businesses help make this time of year even more special.
The Mount Joy Area Chamber of Commerce invites residents, businesses, and community organizations to celebrate Small Business Season, November 1 through December 31, 2026!
This year’s theme, “It’s the Thought That Counts,” is a reminder that supporting local businesses doesn’t always require a purchase. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make a difference.
A recommendation to a friend, sharing a business’s social media post, writing an honest online review, or simply thanking a local business owner or employee can help introduce a business to new customers and show the people behind it that their efforts are appreciated.
Of course, when you’re shopping for holiday gifts, planning a meal, or looking for a service, consider giving a local business the opportunity to earn your business.
Small businesses are an important part of what makes Mount Joy a great place to live, work, play, and shop. They create local jobs, contribute to our community’s character, support local organizations and causes, and provide the products and services we rely on throughout the year.
