The 2025 scholarship applications are now open for Mount Joy area residents and family members of current Chamber members.

This year, the Chamber will award four scholarships:

  • Mount Joy Area Chamber of Commerce $1,000 Scholarship for a Graduating High School Senior: Supporting and encouraging future workforce leaders in our community. This scholarship is open to any Mount Joy area resident or a family member of a current MJCOC member. To be considered, applications, essays, and letters of recommendation must be submitted by Monday, May 5, 2025. CLICK HERE
  • Mount Joy Area Chamber of Commerce Dorothy Metzler Memorial Community Service Scholarship: Honoring a high school senior or college/post-secondary student who exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism by dedicating their time and talents to improving their community and helping those in need. This scholarship is open to any Mount Joy area resident or a family member of a current MJCOC member To be considered, applications, essays, and letters of recommendation must be submitted by Monday, May 5, 2025.   • Mount Joy Area Chamber of Commerce Business Education Award: $1,000 scholarship presented to the graduating senior who ranks first scholastically in the business education course at Donegal High School and plans to further their education.
  • Mount Joy Area Chamber of Commerce Joseph Schaeffer Memorial Scholarship: $500 scholarship presented in memory of Joseph Schaeffer to the Donegal High School graduating senior who has demonstrated outstanding achievement and interest in social studies.

In addition to these four scholarships, the Chamber also awards two $500 scholarships to Mount Joy residents who attend the Janus School. The recipients of these scholarships are chosen by the school.
