Join the 24-Hour Community Giving Event on November 21, 2025

Mark your calendar for Friday, November 21, 2025, for the 24-hour giving event known as ExtraGive. For one full day, Lancaster County becomes a hub of generosity as donors support nonprofits across the region. 

What Is ExtraGive?

ExtraGive is Lancaster County’s largest day of online giving, designed to bring together the community around causes such as children & families, education, health, environment, affordable housing, culture, and heritage. Since its start in 2012, the event has raised over $110 million for more than 500 organizations, engaging more than 40,000 donors. Every donation during ExtraGive is enhanced through “stretch pool” funding and prize incentives, helping each gift go further.

How You Can Participate

    • Visit ExtraGive.org on November 21, and search for the organization(s) you want to support. 

    • Share your support on social media: mention the member’s campaign, include the link, and use hashtags like #ExtraGive, #CommunityGiving, #SupportLocalLancaster (feel free to tailor for Mount Joy).

    • Encourage friends, family, colleagues, and customers to give: the number of unique donors helps many organizations win bonus prizes. 

  • Even if you can’t donate on the day itself, follow the organization’s page now so you’ll receive updates and be ready to act.
