The Janus School is thrilled to invite you to a special event highlighting a story of perseverance, creativity, and the power of embracing one’s unique learning journey with Drew Beekler, a Lancaster County native, with an impressive and inspiring career in the visual arts, including recently winning an Emmy Award. Drew is now also pursuing his passion for stand-up comedy, and we are thrilled to have him share a short comedy set to open the evening.
Following his performance, Drew and his mother will share their story—one of resilience, support, and the importance of recognizing strengths while navigating challenges. Their conversation will highlight both the student and family perspective, offering meaningful insight into the impact that understanding, encouragement, and the right learning environment can have on a young person’s future.
