The local chapter of Make-A-Wish America creates life-changing wishes for children in the community battling critical illnesses.

Each year the chapter hosts the Mother’s Day Truck Convoy to raise the funds that grant up to 75% of the wishes in the Susquehanna Valley. The Truck Convoy is held on the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend each year and includes a Family Fest where attendees can enjoy the kick-off of the Truck Convoy. The Convoy then embarks on a 26-mile route through Lancaster County and rolls directly through the town of Mount Joy.
